"Puzzle Championship" is a fair description of what happens.
This is a team event. Teams first have to get past the written preliminaries on either of 2 days to get to the finals . The preliminaries will consist of questions based on logic , identifying patterns ,lateral thinking and deduction. The finals will be very diverse event with participants engaging in hands on puzzles and competing directly against each other , each of their answers affecting and complicating matters for the others .  The event is guaranteed to be loads of fun (you've heard that before). It will present heaps of challenges and be a great way to connect with your teammates.

Puzzle Championship_Event Format

Prelims: Two seperate events. Written papers of 2½ hours each. Selections will be independent, i.e. both prelims are open to all. 4 teams from each prelim will be selected.
Finals: 8 teams selected will face a variety of hands-on puzzles, rapid fire and non-orthodox problems.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three spots.

Puzzle Championship_Rules & Regulations

1.Registration is not required .
2.A maximum of 3 members can constitute the team .
3.The members of the team can be from different colleges . All that is required is the college ID .
4.Unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification .
5.Specific rules will be specified as and when required .
6.The ruling of the co-ordinators will be final .

1.Do I need to register for the event in advance?
A.No. Registrations are not required for this event.

2.Can I participate as a single member team?
A.Yes . But it is recommended that you come as a full team of 3 as it would reduce your workload .

3. What do I need to bring to the preliminaries?
A. Just your team and yourself.

4. What kind of preparation is required to do well in the event?
A. An 8th Std. Foundation Course followed by 4 years of intensive puzzle coaching :) Seriously, all that is required is basic common sense and an enthusiasm for puzzlesolving.
