Sampark Project X

Project-X is one of the major crowd pulling events of Shaastra every year. This hands-on event which contains problems involving application of basic principles of science,is a team event comprising of a maximum of 3 participants per team. It involves creating simple prototypes according to the given problem statement, with the help of common everyday materials such as ice cream sticks, straws, fevicol etc. The problem statement will be announced on the spot and the required material will also be provided to all teams. Rules and regulations and the testing/winning criteria will depend on the problem statement and the participants will be informed of the same.

Project-X is all about using your hands-on skills and craftsmanship to your advantage, and does not require any pre-requisites or intense technical knowledge. So for all of you who find science interesting and love designing stuff, this is for you!!!
